Day 118 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Nine

Inspiration: Ridges (:

Today was a good day. I worked so hard! It was awesome! Even HARDER than usual! Amazingness. I loved it.
I am so very tired. Tonight is going to be awesome though. I did my first thankful post, which was neat, and Olly, Haley, Kev and I are all going to watch the ball drop tonight together. I wish I was with them, but hopefully next year I will be . . . (:
Tomorrow is a new year. I can’t wait. This year has been such a hard, wonderful, blessed year, but I’m welcoming the new year in with a big hug. Hello new year, my name is Taylor, and with my best friend on my left, my fiance on my right, my family and friends behind me, and God in my heart, I will conquer you. You will be twice as amazing as 2010 … I promise. (:

Au revoir,

Gigi

Day 117 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Eight

Inspiration: Sweet dreams<3

I. Am. Tired. I worked extra hard today at work. I work 6 hours tomorrow. It will be my first long shift in a long while. I got an extra 6 hours this week though, so I am thankful for it! More words tomorrow. Oh, and, I love my friends. You’re all amazing. You know who you are.

Day 116 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Seven

Inspiration: Cheers to success.

Today was another good day, but I’ve been craving glue. I need glue sticks for my inspiration book, but I haven’t been able to acquire any ): sad. I didn’t get much reading done either. And I was cold. Haha. Nothing but complaints from me I guess.
I did, however, get to see Kevin, which was amazing. I haven’t gotten to see him in about a month, so it’s always a wonderful treat to be able to see him . . .
What else? Hm. I’m not sure . . .

Au revoir,

Gigi

Day 115 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Six

Inspiration: Rain, home ❤

Today was another one of those just amazing days. I don’t know why, but it was just great. I read, slept in a bit, cleaned, relaxed, etc. I loved it. (: I also finished mutilating my Vogue issue, and am now awaiting my mum to go to Dollar Tree so we can buy some glue sticks. (:
I’m reading a novel called “Newes From the Dead”. It’s about a woman who was hanged and woke up in her coffin. It’s very odd, and quite sad really. Apparently a true story, too. And I looked through a book today of studio apartments . . . I’m in lovee. I can’t wait to have my own home to decorate . . . (:

Au revoir,

Gigi

Day 114 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Five

Inspiration: Macro(:

Today was good. Spent part of it at the library where I got some neat macro shots, cleaned my room, read, relaxed, and went to Fred Meyer. I bought a plain book for my inspiration book! I also bought a Vogue magazine and started cutting away at it tonight. (: It’s going to be amazing . . .

Day 113 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Four

Inspiration: Spontaneity (:

Today was a great day. I got done with work ON TIME finally! I am finally figuring out a routine and getting used to the change. Hopefully it goes back to my old schedule very soon. Anyways.. hah.
After that, around 3, I went to do a family photo shoot. Got some really good shots (I hope.) The family is amazing and hilarious. I was able to hang out with them for awhile after the photo shoot, and I must say that they are really great people. I felt right at home, which is rare these days with people (especially those you’ve met for the first time.) It was a great day, all in all (: Beautiful families.

Au revoir,

Gigi

Day 112 – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Three

Inspiration: Macro kit (:

Well, today was a lovely day. I received a Breakfast at Tiffany’s poster from my sister, a macro kit and Lensbaby carrying case [both from Lensbaby] from my aunt Cathi, the Lensbaby Muse from my parents, $50.00 for Kindle books [which is already gone] “Pilgrim’s Progress” from my grandparents, “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” from my parents, and I think that was it. I’m sure I’m forgetting something, haha. I also downloaded over 100 books for my Kindle for PC program.
Oh, and I forgot to tell you all. Remember when I did those family photos a week or two ago? Well, they decided to use one of the photos for their Christmas cards. Now, where the dad works, they  post Christmas cards all on a bulletin board. Well, he posted his there, and guess what? Many people were asking him where they went to get the photo done, and some of them even wanted a business card so they could call me! Oh my gosh! It is amazing news! So, now we have to work hard on getting my logo done and getting some business cards made. YES!
By the way . . . all of you out there, those I know and those of you whom I don’t . . . thank you, so much, for all of your support throughout this year. It has been an amazing, challenging, beautiful year, and I feel like I’m progressing for the first time in my life. It’s an amazing feeling, and I couldn’t have known it without all of you out there . . . my familia, my best friend, my fiance, JESUS, all my friends . . . you are amazing. And all you strangers out there, you’re awesome. I’m not sure what any of you see in me, but I still thank you, none the less. . .

Au revoir,

Gigi

Day 111 [ohsweetjesus] – Post Two-Hundred-Forty-Two

Inspiration: Whispers. (:

So, this photo was taken before we had our traditional single-present-opening that we hold every Christmas Eve. It wasn’t a big deal what present we opened, so out of sheer luck I picked something I was hoping to pick . . . the Lensbaby Muse, one of 4 amazing Lensbaby lens that I want. It also came with the Lensbaby Plastic Optic . . . I nearly squealed with delight. This baby is loaded with extreme awesomeness. It is easy to learn how to use, and the effects it creates are amazing. I am in AWE of its awesomeness. No pun intended.
So, after watching “Up” with the family, I asked mum if we could redo this photo with my new Muse. She obliged, and this was the result.

Inspiration: Lensbaby. Boo yeah.

Ah. Maze. Ing. End of story.

On a side note, today was good, Up was phenomenal [as always with Pixar] and now, I’m off to watch one of my favorite Christmas movies of all time with the love of my life. (:

Merry Christmas [Eve]. I hope you all have a wonderful day spent with family. I know I will.

Au revoir,

Gigi

P.S. . . . don’t forget why we celebrate this day. Oh Jesus I love You. Thank You for everything in my life . . . it would be nothing without You.

“Straight Lines” and “I want a hippopatamus for Christmas” by Morgan Cain. “Downtown Portland” by Josh Hemsley.

These photos make me miss home, so much. But, they’re beautiful. They capture Portland just perfectly.
